In your role as Head of Operations, you'll play a key role in surpassing competitors by meeting the increasing demands of our customers across Ecommerce, Retail and Wholesale Channels. Based in the UK, you'll embark on the mission of expanding our operations on both a national and international scale whilst maintaining excellence. Your direct responsibilities include: 

Inbound  

  • Own the relationship with our Freight Forwarders with a strong attention to time and cost.  
  • Hold close-working relationships with the Production team to ensure all inbound shipments from our vendors to warehouse are forecasted and communicated to relevant internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Managing direct from source deliveries to our wholesale customers.  
  • Manage our 3PL’s to ensure inbound shipments are processed within SLA and to a high level of accuracy. 

Outbound  

  • Responsible for the accurate, timely and successful fulfilment of ecommerce, wholesale and retail channels. 
  • Working with key internal stakeholders to produce an maintaining robust forecasting for Peak and Business-as-usual to share with our external stakeholders and Senior team. 
  • Collaborate closely with our wholesale executives to ensure thorough preparation of all wholesale orders and associated paperwork for export, meeting specified delivery timelines. 
  • Ensure warehouse consumables are forecasted and available and appropriate in the various 3PLs. 
  • Ensure inventory is reconciling between the ERP, OMS and WMS by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Analyse and report on all internal and external operational performance to rive operational effectiveness.  
  • Ensure carriers/transporters are selected on a balance of cost, speed and quality whilst adhering to SLAs for our eCOM, wholesale and retail customers. 
  • Owning the relationship with our returns provider, ensuring consistent integration and SLA adherence. 
  • Working with 3PLs to ensure optimize the returns process. 
  • Working with the wholesale and retail teams to ensure customer labelling and warehouse requirements. 

What you’ll need: 

  • Background in Logistics & Distribution.  
  • Previous experience working with and managing 3PL providers.  
  • Experience of working within an ecommerce and retail, and working with wholesale partners  
  • Financial and commercial acumen.  
  • Internal and external stakeholder management.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • To work autonomously in a fast-paced growing company.  
  • Be bright, agile and having a winning attitude.
