On October 19th, we dropped the third instalment of 2022 for our 247 range. Entitled 247 Explore, the collection outfits wearers with the perfect fusion of form and function, with the pieces being built from technical fabrics fashioned with the tactical aesthetic consistent with the 247 range.
The collection is made up of five essential pieces: The Anorak; The Explore Jacket; The Hiking Pant; The Explore Pant; and The Techne Filled Gilet.
The Best Hiking Jacket for Men - 247 Explore Jacket
At the forefront of the 247 Explore range is The 247 Explore Jacket, the ultimate outerwear piece for every expedition. This hiking jacket features a detachable hood with cinch through the centre, an elasticated adjustor in the hem and fitted ribbed cuffs to provide full coverage. Water penetration is also not an issue with a resistant membrane applied to the nylon/elastane shell. Available in both black and flat white, the 247 Explore Jacket affords full day expeditions and walks with secure hand pockets, a cargo pocket to the chest, and chest and arm pockets with branded splash proof zips.
The Best All-Weather Outdoor Pants
For the 247 Explore release, we wanted to create pant styles with the clean aesthetic of the original 247 pant, with added utility features for functionality to afford expeditions in every climate.
We began with the 247 Explore Pant, a sleek, fully functional pant featuring an elasticated waistband with internal drawcord, large cargo pockets as well as secure hand pockets. The cuffs are secured with zips, whilst the shell has a durable water resistant finish to afford all-weather exploration. Available in black and dark oak, the explore pant bridges the gap between a clean, minimalistic look and full functionality for anything you could throw at them.
Moving onto the The 247 Hiking Pant, the goal was to create a pant which fulfils every need on any expedition. It is a cargo style pant, kitted out with tactical hardware. A fixed waistband with adjustable belt is fitted to ensure a secure fit, whilst storage is not in short supply with zipped hand pockets, cargo pockets and a zip calf pocket. The 247 Hiking Pant is equipped with a rubberised lobster clip on the back belt loop and front triangular belt ring. The zip cuffs feature elasticated adjusters to ensure maximal coverage, whilst the nylon/elastane shell has a durable water resistant finish.
The Ultimate Insulator
The 247 Techne Filled Gilet provides both warmth and breathability without added bulk to the body. With a slimline fit to prevent unnecessary volume, it is the insulator layer that you never know is there. The gilet features a baffled front panel and back vent for breathability with a polyester fill and lining. It has secure hand pockets and a durable water resistant finish to the outer shell in case of a turn in weather. The Techne Filled Gilet is available in Black and Dark Oak.
The 247 Anorak
We finish of the 247 Explore collection with the 247 Anorak, coming in Black and Dark Oak. Perfect for variable weather conditions, it features a large secure cargo pocket to the front with an internal hand rest, rear vent and side seam zips. The hood is adjustable whilst the outer shell is finished with a durable water resistant membrane.
